Like many other companies around the world right now, we’ve had to adapt to the changes brought by COVID-19 and transform our daily routines to fit a different lifestyle, one based at home.
Working from home, however, didn’t stop us to celebrate National Fitness Day as a team.
Our coach, Craig McNeill, who’s also Head of Digital Fitness, organised a special tennis tournament, sponsored by Zoom, to bring our team spirit alive.
Amateur moves were quickly replaced with a pro attitude. Any lamps, chairs and other furniture in the vicinity certainly felt that!
Our Head of Onboarding, Laura Eagleton, raised some good points for the female duo. Alas, a couple of Internet freezes on the side of our Marketing & Communications specialist, Stella Yanakieva, gave lead to the boys.
Few passes later, our QA Tester Chin Nwaozuzu, with the help of one of our mobile developers, Greg Mandziak, quickly gained speed for a game, set and match.
60 lunges, 40 squats, 25 press ups later, along with countless muscled engaged in the game, I can safely say that we’re all winners today. ????????
. . .
National Fitness Day is a chance to highlight the role physical activity plays across the UK and to raise awareness of its importance in helping us lead healthier and active lifestyles. Good health has never been a bigger priority than it is today. With the help of physical activity, we can all design a healthier and happier life.
As the slogan of this year’s National Fitness Day goes, #FitnessUnitesUs
