Before he opened Pitshanger Fitness & Health, Dean Horridge became the Founder & CEO of Fit For Sport and Thinkably which support children across the world.
With 30+ years supporting children live more happy, carefree, today Dean helps grownups do the same. After decades spent in the area, he thought it’s time to invest back in the local community by opening a gym that helps people with access to all the resources they need to achieve their health and fitness goals and lifestyle.
Tell us more what's the best thing about owning a gym?
I’ve lived in the area for about 30 years now and I’ve looked for a suitable site for many years, long before we opened Pitshanger Fitness & Health.
The best thing about being a gym owner is being able to support our local community in being active and leading a healthy lifestyle.
What problems did you have before joining Membr that made you switch providers?
We needed to make sure we had a system which staff could use daily without to much complication.
